SANTA CRUZ (Location)
Santa Cruz is located at the top of the Monterey Bay on the Central California coast, just south of San Francisco. It is 75 miles from San Francisco International Airport and 30 miles from San Jose International Airport.

Follow the directions provided below to make a reservation for a discounted UC-contracted rate on a rental car used for official UCSC business:

CONFERENCE SITE: UCSC: Engineering 2: Classrooms 180, 192 & 194, the E2Courtyard, and the Baskin Auditorium
The conference meeting rooms are located on the first floor of Engineering 2. E2 is located behind Baskin Engineering located off of McLaughlin Drive, across from the Core-West Parking Structure.
PARKING ON CAMPUS
Parking on campus is limited, and we encourage you to take the provided shuttle from the hotel. However, for guests wishing to drive themselves to the conference, parking will be available on Saturday and Sunday at the Core-West Parking Structure across from the E2 area conference site - a permit is not needed on Weekends.

UCSC Apartments at College 9 $ <60 rooms available> Located on campus -walk to the conference in 5 minutes, amidst the beautiful UCSC redwoods, private room or a double room in a 4 bedroom apartment (shared kitchen and bath) genders separated into different apartments.
